My undergraduate GPA and test scores are not perfect, but my work experience is strong. How do admissions committees weigh professional impact versus academic metrics when evaluating candidates like me?

Committees value strong work experience more than perfect academics in my opinion. Especially if you can show clear leadership and results. Tell that story well.

Agreed with the above, but also make sure your test scores meet the average. I had a similar profile with better work experience than many classmates coming in from my pre-MBA sector, but I was outright rejected by two schools without interview because my test score wasn't great.

Your test score is the greatest ROI. Get your essays and resume 80% there, so you can spend more time studying for the test.

Being from Minnesota, I think it's so funny when people act as if we are some far-left State just because we hadn't voted Republican in a presidential election since Nixon. Never mind that many of our elections are close or that we have elected Republican Senators and governors.

I have voted for both the GOP and the DFL, and I feel like they are both far more normal than their national counterparts

My colleagues
Just to put some intro
I am 22 years after college experience and worked in consulting for 15 years and currently in industry for 7 years.
My long term goal is to go back to consulting more of a business advisor from a strategy perspective
Here is my question
Would MBA be any good for me especially looking at strategy side?
I don’t want to spend $200K and would probably go online MBA in a mid tier school. Are those any good?
Looking forward to your great input on this topic

I see a lot of the applications state that (in the event you can’t take the GMAT due to COVID) a minimum GMAT score will be required if admitted as stated in the admissions letter. Any guesses on what a minimum GMAT score would be for M7?
