I just interviewed with Amazon for the Sr. PM position. I had four back to back interviews. Two of which were also PMs. However, who was the bar raiser in this case if the third was a UI Designer and the fourth was a Software Engineer? 🤔

Have my first interview for Microsoft software engineer new grad position this week. Any advice or tips? Will I be asked any technical questions the first interview? Or is it just behavioral? Any advice on how to prepare for the interview would be great!

What do you look for in a team or company?
I'm currently job hunting, and as a senior software engineer, it looks like I'll have many options. What questions would you ask the hiring manager or team members to understand the culture of the team?
Specifically I'm looking for: collaborative work environment, focus on mentorship, interesting technical challenges, good leadership/management, little-to-no work drama.

Interview questions with a PM?
I'm currently interviewing for senior software engineer and have a couple interviews with PMs (culture fit, etc).
I've had some rocky relationships with PMs.
As a PM, what would you like an engineer to ask you?
As an engineer, what would you ask a PM to understand how the work with engineers, what they prioritize, if they throw engineers under the bus, etc?
I've also had many experiences with great PMs.

I gave interview at bank of america some time back and they took interview for post of senior software engineer ( prod support)

But in offer they have mentioned the post as Analyst 1

Could someone please advise can I ask them to change the post to SSE as when I was giving interview it was shown like that only ?

A company called DASH technologies reached out to me saying I pay 16% of first year salary once I get a job. They said they will get me interviews. I have been working on my job search for a long time. What are your thoughts on these types of staffing agencies. I can get interviews on my own but no offers. How much hike can I ask for in TCS for a senior software Engineer role (full stack JavaScript development)? I have 3 years of experience and about to attend their interview.

My degree is EE. Amazon had an opening for an entry level Control Systems Engineer, and so I applied. I got an email back from recruitment saying the team was pleased with my resume and that I’ll be hear back soon to schedule an interview... but for a Senior Software Engineer position, which my resume does not match. I replied letting them know that wasn’t the position I applied for. I check the Amazon jobs site and my application was “no longer under consideration”.

I recently interviewed at GoJek and cleared all of the rounds. I even got a call from HR that you have been selected for the senior software engineer role. He then asked me my expected salary. Which i gave a ballpark figure of 28 Laks PA. Since then it has been 3 days and I haven't heard back. Should i call him back and quote a lower price? Need your advice here.

Question about Deloitte - Software engineer / Fullstack Developer. Applied AI - Analytics and Cognitive group.

During an interview I wasn't told much about what I'll be doing or even what tech stack I'll be using. How much coding/engineering will I be doing? I would hate to be a glorified ETL person writing SAS queries or QA. My expertise is mobile (React Native) and fullstack (backend Python/JS, frontend JS/React/Redux)
