How do you make ur boss think that you have a lot to do when you actually have nothing ?

I’m looking for a new job!! It has been impossible to build a good relationship with my manager, he isn’t transparent with me and never provides any constructive feedback so I have no idea how I’m performing. I recently asked for a raise since I completed all my assigned projects for this year plus a few that I took on due to resignations and was denied with no reason. I’m so checked out and looking for a new job and manager that I can learn from and will help me grow, any help is appreciated!

Tips on writing marketing company that sounds organic and punchy?

I’m looking to carve out my career in HR. I have 2 years in a dedicated HR Coordinator role (essentially with Generalist duties) and 5+ years in senior level hospitality management. I’m interested in getting my PHR or getting a certificate in data analytics with business/HR focus. Thoughts on next steps?

I have had an opportunity presented to me to make a switch from the underwriting desk to the agency side as a producer. To my surprise the base pay is equal, however the producer obviously has new and renewal commissions. Am I nuts to leave my strict 40 hour weeks behind for a chance in the sales world? Anyone else make the switch for better or for worse?

Can we talk designations a minute? I'm at the agency level now and would like to move to a company underwriter. If I'm going to add some designations to my portfolio, which would be the best? I don't think jumping right into CPCU is the right way to go. I can earn my CIC and then pursue a CRM or CPRM. I don't think I want to do the CISR since that won't do much for me if/when I move to underwriter. Is there something else I should consider? Do designations matter at the company level?

Do you ever give any superiors your honest opinion, even if it's asked of you? Or do you just give them a BS answer that's something they want to hear?
