Not law related but does anyone have recommendations for pills that help with menstrual bloating? Right before I get so bloated and look several months pregnant every time. There has to be a solution!

I don’t know about pills but I’ve found that Chamomile tea helps with GI upset and excess air in the gut. Also at times, some of us also experience acid reflux. Chamomile is good for that as well.

Diuretics help with this but have their drawbacks.

This isn’t responsive to your question, so feel free to ignore. Walking might help, stretching or yoga. You might also feel better wearing looser clothes those days.

Consider seeing a functional medicine doctor to figure out what's going on with you. I went to beyond the mountain wellness but I'm not sure if she sees anyone outside of California.

Not a doctor, so not medical advice, but I've seen lots of women on social media say that taking famotidine (pepcid) helps with pre-menstrual symptoms. Including a doctor who personally tried it after seeing so many suggest it, and she said it made a difference for her. It's an antacid, but also a histamine blocker. Something to try...?

Ibuprofen right at the onset of menstrual symptoms does reduce inflammation which should translate to less bloating.

High protein and water intake, and moderate exercise, the week before a period can help reduce symptoms generally.

Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

Although Amazon has instituted a hiring freeze and layoffs are probably on their way, I went through the loop for a security engineer position at AWS. Before I attended the final interviews, Amazon placed the hiring freeze and called me to ask if I wanted to go ahead or cancel my application. I decided do go ahead Right now I'm waiting for their response and the position I applied to changed from "under consideration" to "no longer under consideration". Thoughts?
