Hyatt is still better, caveat is if there are hyatts where your going. They just don’t have the footprint that Hilton or Marriott has
Just be a free agent like I am. I book through Chase/AMEX's portal and go for comfort/convenience over being a Marriott Unobtanium and needing over100K points for one night in a Courtyard or something.
Rising Star
Hyatt is still worth more so it will probably still make sense to move Chase points there as needed, although the massive outsized value we've been getting is mostly gone.
Honestly think the play now is to open the Hilton cards. They just released elevated bonuses that include FNCs that work anywhere with standard availability. Add in 1:2 transfers from Amex, frequent transfer bonuses, and 5th night free, and you can come out ahead.
But yeah, you know it's bad when Hilton starts to look good...
Hilton is way better for organic spend (e.g., OPM)
If only Hilton Hotels weren’t that shit lol
