I am an AMM, and started in January 2019. I’ve been seeing individuals on other teams who started in July 2019 be promoted to MM. Why are promotions so sporadic and limited, while other teams are abl…
There is constant commentary about high turnover and lack of raises/promotions, yet 65% of the population is loyal and doesn’t jump agencies... can you explain why the majority continues to stay?
Is there any reason to believe that Performics is headed toward a positive trajectory (business-wise)? I could care less about culture... I want to know if I have a potential for a long career here.
One of the best things about working at Performics is the holiday time... that’s what we get for being part of a French holding company. Who’s excited about getting Dec 23 to Jan 2nd off?

Anybody has worked for Puget Sound Energy? What are the pros and cons of working there? Would you move from consulting to PSE if given opportunities?
Does anybody know any solutions for having someone care for a mildly sick child? I have a 1-year-old in daycare and my wife and I both work. He is picking up various illnesses which is unfortunately not unusual for his age at daycare. If he has a fever he has to miss the following day of daycare even after the fever is gone. This is a good policy with covid but difficult for two working parents. Bright horizons used to provide care in this scenario but not in 2020 even with a negative covid test

What do you do if you work with someone and cannot stand the sound of their voice? This woman I work with has such a whiny voice and she talks slow and choppy at the same time. It makes me want to pull out my hair and gives me a headache by the end of the day. How do you deal with this kind of annoyance in the workplace?

Any Jr ADs down to work on a side project?I’m a Jr CW looking to better fill out my book. Been freelancing all year, at some great shops, but haven’t come into too many bookworthy projects, so I’m staying proactive in the mean time. Want to break into FT, even mid level if I can and trying to get a better book together to do so. If you’re interested (maybe even in the same boat), please DM me and we can exchange info.

115k ops role at Deloitte in MCOL city or 100k strat & M&A at LEK in NYC. Extremely interested in strat & M&A exits and the work at LEK but the salary seems extremely painful in NYC
Last Sunday, my wife was flying United from JFK to LAX and her flight was delayed over 9 hours. I’ve never even heard of a delay this long. They’re offering $125 voucher or 6250 points which is pretty pathetic. What kind of comp would you expect? We’d like a refund for that leg ~$500 but she doesn’t have any status
Anyone at Deloitte able to shed some light on the “Digital Controllership” practice? Curious about the type of work, culture, and comp…
I’m a 2016 grad making $120k in a small to mid-size regional firm. I’m based in Nashville. My firm’s management is trying to survey other small to mid-size regional firms to get a feel for where the comp is now, especially in light of the big law increases that are making headlines, and to see just how far below market we may have fallen. Any additional data points from smaller regional firms (especially if you have a presence in Nashville or across the SE) would be appreciated! TIA

Applying for consulting jobs again this fall - I was a transfer student. My current uni GPA is barely above a 3.6, but if I incorporate my transfer gpa into my college GPA, it is a 3.7. Should I list a 3.7 on my resume as "cumulative GPA" or is that lying? Thanks.
Is there a concensus on weather the 200k mba cost is a positive or negative ROI for those that are already in a post-mba role and will not get much of a pay bump from the mba? Assuming the post mba salary will be pretty much the same as if the person stayed for another 2yrs
