Our school let the kids dress up for Halloween today. I was impressed at the creativity of our students. We had homemade costum, blowup costumes, quirky, and odd. Even the teachers were into it! I don't do anything Halloween, but our kids had so much fun. I think my favorite was the
Mad Hatter costumes one the girls put together. Did your school do anything for Halloween?

I love it when students participate in the dress up days. We had Prom day today. Wow! Some of our kids were Dreased Up to the max!!

Same as you, I was impressed by the creativity

Hello S& 🐠! I was just approached by a recruiter for a senior associate role on the TMT Corp and business strategy team. Wanted to get a sense of the team, company, culture, comp expectations. Really any candid insight would be great! (I’m 2.5 years out of undergrad, ex-EY Parthenon, current on a strategy team at a large tech company)
Thanks a ton in advance!

FDD/TAS Senior > Restructuring (Rx) analyst or associate (FAS/Banking) - Has anyone seen it done before? Would starting from Valuation instead of FDD be a better stepping stone to Rx banking. Also, I would imagine the best Rx banking exit would be to HL. Is FTI Rx (FAS) considered better than EY-P Restructuring consulting? How about compared to AM Rx (FAS). Thanks for any input!

I’m in FDD… I know I signed up for this but there’s something about the anxiety that comes on a Friday knowing that we still didn’t get access to VDR .. and how that anxiety grows as you enter the long weekend knowing that access can happen at any minute (or not) and you have to tippy-toe on the idea of potentially cancelling on your memorial weekend plans. I know the unpredictability of our job but phew 😮‍💨

I understand the importance of citations. It's a wonderful way to show how your work builds on previous research. But sometimes I just want to write an article that says "I think this" without having to cite everyone who ever said that before me.
