I understand the importance of citations. It's a wonderful way to show how your work builds on previous research. But sometimes I just want to write an article that says "I think this" without having to cite everyone who ever said that before me.

Sometimes it's okay to just say what you think without having to back it up with a citation. If your article is based on your own original research, or if you're summarizing the work of others, then you should definitely cite your sources. But if you're just giving your opinion, you don't necessarily need to include a reference.

If you are only interested in writing and not publishing it as scientific articles, you can do this on a personal blog or a Medium page! It's a good way to write and express yourself without following strict rules because you set the rules
