Great advice, run because you are not cared for as a person.
There are so many environments out there that care for their attorneys’ well-being and understand that pregnancy and early infancy is temporary. If you are truly valued by your firm or company, your contributions prior to pregnancy and in the years ahead will be more important than a year or two with hours a little lower than the normal target!

So true! Also, the fact that workplaces in general don't recognize how strong women are for holding jobs and going through the grueling process of pregnancy and raising tiny babies. We might not be as productive for that short period, but we're such badasses for getting through it 🙌🏻
This!! I’m 35 weeks pregnant and barely hitting 100 hours (our unit doesn’t have a lot of work anyways) and I’m so nervous to be let go in the next 5 weeks but I think it’s important to be given grace during this time!!
They won’t let you go that close. I had a similar issue. Will be an extremely bad look on the firm.
