Eff this! Babymoons, push presents, where does it end??? The present is the baby!
Gym membership.
Get whatever gift and write her a nice handwritten note expressing how you feel about her and you two as a unit. And not just a small thank you note... write a nice lengthy 1 pager... she ll treasure it
I refused. Silly materialistic New York concept.
Diamond earrings
Let her sleep in and get rest when she needs it. Help out with the baby and around the house
Bling. P1 - good luck with that
None. I find this concept cute but unnecessary.
Rhinestone thong
Just say “I love you” and “Thank you” often even after the push
EY2. Yes the baby is the ultimate gift but think about what the woman goes through to give us this baby. It’s worth a little something don’t you think? I mean we just had to contribute a few ounces of fluid to make it and she does the rest. You’re a team. Be thankful !!!
Present is nice. But live up to her expectations not your friend’s and definitely not her mother’s. I think nice earrings for hospital pics is appreciated. I had never heard of a push present until we move to the East Coast. Luckily, my wife thought it was a ridiculous idea. I still give her some reasonable earrings.
Never heard of a push present until this thread. But I'm in my 40s and our generation has babies before Pinterest and social media made every life event something that has to be more of a production. It seems like a nice gesture but I assume many do it just to impress others.
Apple watch
Spa day
Whatever she wants. She's pushing a human out for you.
Bracelet or necklace engraved with baby's name; high end bag (Chanel, LV, YSL etc)
I bought her a ring with the child’s birthstone - both times and she loves them.
Nope, wholeheartedly disagree but you do you!
Fun fact: the nurses in the hospital where asking me in front of my wife what I got her for a Push present...and then giving outrageous suggestions.
To answer your question though, can never go wrong with jewelry. I got her a ring with three circles to represent our new fam and it’s in a complimentary design to her engagement and wedding band.
