I’m a Junior product manager with a Master’s in Healthcare Management. I feel like the current company that I am at has my title as JPM, but I am doing PM work i.e creating product roadmaps, collaborating across stakeholders (business, marketing, design teams), creating user stories/features, etc. and I feel like my work isn’t being valued and I’m constantly being micromanaged by business teams expectations.

How feasible is it for me to apply to a PM role with less than a year of experience?

What is a simple way to explain to my boyfriend that investing in equity with an expected return of 10% is better than paying off debt that is growing at a rate of 6%. He has student loans and is adamant that he wants to pay all of them off immediately before saving any retirement money. I understand that many individuals use this strategy but I think investing in index funds for the long haul is better from a wealth accumulation perspective, without even factoring in tax implications of 401k

I'm an in-house counsel at a national company. Our GC is leaving. I’m the only other in-house attorney, and I’ve only been here for 4 months. I like the job. Previously, I was a 6th-year associate.

In-house marketing departments are flourishing right now. We’ve hired two new people, and plan on more. And we continue to fire our agencies, from content creation to branding. I think it’s a positive move, as I’ve seen better work related to the brand I work for come from those who understand it best. Tell me again why a full agency is necessary? 😆 We hire and give full benefits, while agencies continue to ask freelancers for discounts, while jacking up their agency rates.

I've worked in-house for X company for 1.5 years now.

Got a 3.5% raise, 2.8% bonus after performance review, - so unnerving given that my review was exceptionally good. They said I'll get promoted to Senior designer in Apr/May.

Last year's performance review was after 6 months in: got a 4% raise, 2% bonus. They promised a better bonus + raise after a full year.


Better raise, bonus promise unfulfilled. My current salary isn't adjusted for inflation. Should I stay for promotion or leave?
