Recruiter gets in touch through LinkedIn, says he checked my profile and has a perfect match job. Asks to book a call. He calls me, talks about the job, I say I am interested. I send my CV, he says he has a call with them the same day, he will introduce me and will get in touch right after. He doesn't get back to me. I follow up after a few days.He never replies.
I'm wondering:
If you are not interested, why are you wasting my time? At least reply to me and be respectful.

I have a question, I got a contract role through a recruiter. Initially the recruiter offered the hourly pay rate which was the minimum in my range. Now I got an offer from the company. Now without me asking her she increased the hourly wage to the maximum range I asked. Which makes me doubt if the company increased it or she knew the rate all along but gave me the lower rate ?
