Today was suppose to be my graduation day. Instead I had an experienced hire Big Four interview this afternoon with a senior manager and partner. Was referred to them by another senior manager. Told quite a few positions need to be filled. No hiring freeze for those positions. Don’t expect to hear right away due to Covid delays,working from home, and it being late afternoon on Friday. How long of wait time till I should worry about no offer? Super excited and nervous all at once. Advice needed!

I have a modeling test on Wednesday with a solar farm developer. On the phone interview that proceeded this, the CFO mentioned that these pro forma solar farm models are more nuanced than most. He mentioned bonus depreciation and tax credits among other things. Are there any good resources that I can use to learn about solar farm/renewable energy modeling? Also any general tips or things I should be aware of. If anyone could share a model too that would be awesome! Thanks for the help.

US mommas with young kids... with everything going on: do you think college will be a completely different thing by the time your kids grow up? I wonder if this is what will finally “break” the system of $50k annual tuition, etc. the whole liberal arts immersed experience, living in dorms, etc. if it will change to something more like in Europe where you live at home. Or if it all becomes all online. It’s interesting to think about obviously not having a way to know!
