Has anyone actually found love at work? My best friend started at a new company 6 months ago and she just took an offer somewhere else because she and her senior manager fell for each other. Just venting. My husband is so much into watching his tv show that he is not at all interested in planning the baby shower or even in making the registry. I have a friend that’ll call me to chat, but she often goes “hang on I’ll call you back.” Majority of the times she calls, she’s either picking up her kids/someone else calls her/she’s ordering food/etc that interrupts the convo and it kinda drives me insane. I get she’s busy as a mom but it’s frustrating to try to hold a convo that gets interrupted for something else making her hang up & call back OR the kids are in the background making noise/she’s talking to them while I’m talking. Any1 else?

I think I want to be in relationship, but I fear that I actually am just lonely and not actually ready for relationship.

I grew up in a nuclear family away from extended relatives who were never really close. Parents were either emotionally unavailable or distant. All I've wanted for myself was a big loving family to call my own.. my parents are unaccepting of my sexuality & my partners family is also quite fucked up so she's isn't super close to them either. Honestly this sucks & it feels like I'll never have a huge supportive family I've wanted & craved for.
