Hi, I'm leaving Citi in 2 months. It's hard to make this decision. I have an offer from a small startup. In citi, my previous experience was not considered and was reskilled to different tech which is the reason for change.I don't like to exit citi. As I like the company so much. But considering my current knowledge,I am in the middle of the sea.I am afraid now that the new company's offer would be revoked due to this recession?Or can I take back my resignation in citi before the last working day.Is this wise decision?

We‘re still very attracted to each other. I could get used to this WFH life
Okay. So he’s definitely eating my Double Stuff Oreos. Which is bullsht because I asked him at the apocalypse store if he wanted Double Stuff, and he was like “No. Those are overkill. The originals are just fine.” Fine. We get both. But now he comes out of the kitchen. I smell his breath. Toothpaste. Toothpaste used to mask chocolate breath??! Like half the pack’s gone. And you KNOW that OG sleeve’s still sitting there untouched. So I ask if he wants an Oreo, and I study his expression. He’s just like “No.” Obviously a flat out lie bc of course he does it’s a Double Stuff Oreo. Something’s clearly afoot. What’s he hiding???
He knows he does!!
Also are double stuffed that expensive? Zamn
My spouse is a F500 executive right below c suite, and noticed that 90% of the day is essentially all calls back to back, and 50% of call times are spent talking about other people, why certain teams won’t cooperate, et cetera. 10% is actual working
That's leadership anywhere. I spend 80% + on calls too.
My partner works for a small startup (not as a founder) and has put in 16 hours days every day this week to help meet client expectations while they're under pressure too. I can see how much he cares about his job, his coworkers, and the success of the company. I admire his drive. Also, he is pretty gentle and sweet with me and hearing the way he talks to his coworkers in zoom calls (confident, assertive) is like a new side of him and it's honestly kinda hot
Congrats on the birth of your next child 10 months from now
Single but following😹

I’m reaffirming position that I hit the husband lottery. He’s an efficient, diplomatic leader at work, so respectful with his teams. He makes me lunch. He walks the dogs. He brings me wine. He lets me freak out about our upcoming move and calms my heart.
Honestly, other than cash flow and health insurance, I don’t know what I bring to this relationship. 😂😂
I love my husband and we both dont need anyone else to survive a quarantine
“ We people “ - how can you really know if someone is happy that you’re there
My wife is as inefficient at work as she is at home 😳
Lol. I wish my wife wasn’t so consistent... just kidding. Can’t have 2 super intense people. Our relationship couldn’t take that. Plus who’s going to interrupt my workday with funny dog videos or some tiktoks lol
Neither of us wants to cook and we are starving...
That indeed government contractors don’t really do much.
It’s better if I travel ...but very happy to see each other on weekends!
Oh I second that one big time.......
I’ve learnt that I’m blessed to be single 😊
My spouse works harder than me.
I’ve learned that my spouse is a “whistle while you work” person 🙂🔫

Whistling makes me homicidal. It would be a very short relationship...
I’ve learned that my husband and I really enjoy each other’s company and will really miss this WFH life when it’s over. I don’t know how I can go back to being gone through the week. I may have to look for a new job.
That's what my wife said to me too!! She prepped coffee And breakfast this morning
I've learned peeing with the door open is a lot louder than you think it is. Macs have surprisingly good microphones.
My loud crazy mess Aries of a husband is a very focused, quiet, and diligent worker. Who’d a thunk 🤷♀️
Hahaha PM1. I wouldn’t trade my Aries husband in for anyone else in the world. Im find with closing doors and turning lights off forever. I’m sure your wife feels the same!
Observation 2: My spouse (F500 senior exec) cares about the Skype status going away, so asked me to keep moving the mouse while he is taking a midday nap (Obv too tired from gossiping all day)
I asked who is going to possibly care about the Skype status, he said his boss (Chief something officer) looks at that... 🤣
Put a shot glass on the space bar and open up a word document. Problem solved
I learned that we're utterly reliant on daycare. With it closed and both of us working full time from home and also taking shifts watching a two and five year old, it's literally 18 hour days with no breaks. Fun times.
Every time you go to the bathroom, they notice and keep track....
now second guessing if the people at the office notice too.....
Chief
They’re keeping track of the TP stock that’s all
