Searched for Creative Director jobs, and it seemed like there's nothing out there worth pursuing! Aside from a few pharma spots, it looks like no one is looking for CDs. In previous years, LinkedIn was flooded with job openings for CDs. I even scaled down and searched for ACD/Copy Director but found similar results. Is the entire field dead, or is the market just bad?

I asked for a raise and instead got laid off. Told that after looking into finances not only can they not afford a raise they cannot afford me. But I know for a fact they are replacing me with an Agency that say they can run our Social Media for 500pcm. Is this normal practice these days?
