In my experience (both on the asking and on the telling side) conversations like this are significantly better when the person asking the question is genuinely curious about the answer, and isn’t just asking a question because they think they’ll sound smart (not saying that’s what you’re doing!) It’s easy to tell because the asker usually follows up with more context/a story which makes the conversation feel more natural and usually leaves both people feeling better at the end of the call. All that said, some questions to consider (if not explicitly stated online):
1) Knowing that much of the MBA experience revolves around relationships and learning from peers, what types of attributes/experiences do you most value in applicants when trying to craft the next class? (Goal of this Q is to understand the feel of the class)
2) If I were to ask alumni of your school, what experience do you think most of them would cite as being the most unique and transformational part of their MBA? (Goal is to understand what experiences sets this school apart)
3) Then I’d ask something about the process of getting accepted/completing a particular class or experience you saw online that you’re curious about (e.g., a global internship program) (Goal is to learn about something you’re really interested in and to show admin that you’ve done some research)

Can I get through your program by asking other students to do my homework/research for me? 💁🏻♀️

Thanks y’all! Yeah McK the goal was more to crowdsource some questions that I might not have thought about that people have successfully asked to get really valuable info
Ask what they would change about the program. Answers will likely tell you as much about the students as the school, but that's not a bad thing.

Ask how closely they actually do background checks or if you can fudge the resume a little? They want someone who thinks outside the box!
