Here on a work visa, live alone, no friends/family nearby, overwhelmed with work all the time, drinking myself to death..feels like my life is slowly turning into a horror story! Need some positivity.
I really dislike client service. I just want to be able to do my job and not worry about pleasing clients. Decided this is my last year at the firm then I'll be leaving for industry and better hours.
Looking for advice. I’ve been struggling to focus through the whole WFH thing but my dad died unexpectedly a few weeks ago and since then my motivation is at rock bottom. I’ve always been an overachiever but now can’t find any real reason to care about my job at all. Now that I’m out of the allotted bereavement time I feel like there’s an expectation to be normal again, but I don’t know how to explain that my world stopped three weeks ago and I don’t know how to go back to who I was before?

Wondering thoughts on buying right now. I feel like homes are overpriced and buyers are paying way more than the price on a bidding war. My thoughts are to sell my current home to make a ton of $$ in a sellers market. Rent something for a year or so until it becomes a buyers market and prices drop. Then buy a home for a lot less than I would have paid for it today. Does anyone have thoughts on this?
