Tech consulting is a very difficult job for BTech graduates, especially considering the minimal pay. The options are limited as there are only a few firms that pay reasonably well, most of them pay peanuts.
If we put in the same amount of effort while working at a product-based firm, we would earn at least 2–2.5 times our Big4 pay.

Most of the people are getting 3*YOE here while people at product based firms have no limit, they can get 5-6-7 times of their YOE.

In one month is my mid term review.. Should I let my mentor know I'm applying for mba this year now or should I wait till after the review session? I'm afraid mentioning going to b school would hurt my "fast promotion". What's your guy's experience? :)
