Burnout is a choice. We can choose differently! I spent 2 decades burning myself out to learn this lesson!
I’m envious of your perspective that “Burnout is a choice”, it doesn’t feel like that to my nervous system or look like that to my budget.
How much of your survival is or was dependent on your current income? How many dependents are you fully supporting?
Those are always tangible questions I wonder about when I see someone who has seemingly escaped the burnout trap.
But maybe that’s just my limited thinking keeping me stuck.
