Hi I'm going for an internal position switch to strategy consultant in advanced analytics. The internal switch requires a normal interview 30' talk about motivations, strengths, ... And a case interview. Some competitors search for 'creative' ways of tackling the first minutes of the 30' talk by creating eg. a video where others present the candidate. How is this perceived by hiring managers, and if perceived good, what other ways are great? Thx

I’ve been waiting for security clearance since July and just found out I’m pregnant after trying for a year. I’m hoping clearance will be granted in early spring 2021 and I can start work soon after. Thankfully taking unpaid time off isn’t a big issue (won’t be eligible for FMLA or parental leave), but worried about timing and telling HR & my supervisor. I’m planning to tell them once I start; know timing isn’t ideal and stressed about starting off on the wrong foot. Any advice?
Curious what would you do if recession hits? Does going to MBA sounds like a safe plan? Or keep working till the economy gets better? Just curious your thoughts.

Skimmed through case in point. Read Victor Cheng's book. Did some cases with peers. Still feel like I struggle a bit with being mece in my structure. Any tips? I'm getting nervous at this stage 😭😭😭. My approach for the interview is trying to be as structured and logical as possible.
