I mean, 100 years is nothing to you know be sad about I think he was definitely underappreciated as our president and we need more leaders like him so he will be missed, but yeah I don’t know that we should’ve been surprised by this news
I keep seeing people on IG reminding everyone that he was a war hawk or that he actually caused a lot of problems, I feel like i should know a lot more about his legacy than I do. But living to 100 years is an accomplishment for sure!
He was a man of peace. Never dropped a bomb.
It’s sad because he was ours and we won’t see a prince like him again anytime soon. Such a decent, intelligent, principled, hardworking, charming man. He was truly a bright light. Glad he lived so long, grateful he changed so many lives, and also sad we couldn’t keep him forever, though he was fine with transitioning. Rest in Peace.
It's sad, but he led such an interesting life, and such a long life, that you can't be too sad. In a way his post-presidency was more interesting, as president he was saddled with so many problems not of his making. He may have been one of the smartest people to serve as president, and in modern America that worked against him.
RIP to a really decent human being
