This morning, I witnessed the generational divide in real time: one coworker asking for an email, another wanting it dropped in the group chat. It's like we're all speaking different languages in the same office! How is everyone managing this communication chaos without their head exploding? Because I'm over here trying to remember who prefers Teams, who only checks email, and who still leaves Post-it notes on my desk

Different people definitely have different ways of communicating. It is interesting to see everyone's preferred method though.

Exactly! Everyone communicates differently, and it’s always cool to see how that shows up.

Email is our only real communication channel and that's perfectly fine with me. I have enough notifications going off as is without adding Teams/Slack/whatever else people use into the mix. Email is so much easier and natural for me since that's what I grew up using.

I personally always default to email for group communication. It keeps Subject matter together and documents whatever was said by everyone, for everyone.

I come across this gap every single day even though I am in customer service job. We usually need docs from customers in order to file their cases and some people like to fax them till this day and some are just fine with emails. However, this is mind blowing.
