What are some of the best paid medical fields that don't require a doctorate? Certifications are absolutely fine. I just can't afford to go into doctorate-level debt

Anesthesiology, radiology, and orthopedics are some of the best paid medical fields that don't require a doctorate.

Some of the best paid medical fields that don't require a doctorate are nursing, physician assistant, and medical technologist. These careers offer high salaries and job stability. They also allow you to work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and research labs.

There are many great medical fields that don't require a doctorate. Some of these include nursing, pharmacy, and medical technology. These careers offer great pay. They allow you to help people and make a difference in their lives.

Nursing is a great one. It will always be needed and is fairly well paying. Of course, it can be stressful and long hours. Paramedic?

What do you mean by medical fields? Do you mean by clinical? There are many clinical research jobs that probably pay very well. If you are wanting clinical fields, you will need to go to professional schools. Ph.D. is usually inexpensive. MD-PhD program is also inexpensive if you can get in.

I’ve worked in clinical research in the academic/non profit world for the past five years. I want to transition to a role in pharma or a CRO, but haven’t been successful yet because I don’t have industry experience. Does anyone know of any CROs/pharma companies that are willing to hire someone with research expertise from an academic medical center rather than already in industry? Thanks!

Anyone used Botox to treat TMJ/teeth-grinding? My dentist said i should get a mouth guard and potentially do some physical therapy. I seem to be doing a lot of clenching/teeth grinding in the night. I already get Botox in my forehead for cosmetic purposes so I'm not worried about Botox generally, but unsure how common it is in the jaw for this medical purpose.

I am fairly green in academia (< 1 year) and I want to shift to an area of research which I always wanted to do but never could as a Ph.D. student (because of conflict of interest).
The issue I am facing is that due to lack of my documented research experience in this field (read, lack of papers) I am finding it very hard to land any grant and reviewers keep saying "The PI hasn't demonstrated any experience in said research" blah blah.
Any advice on how to overcome this?
