Can anyone please enlighten on what is the average and maximum annual salary hike in American express?

Not sure I want to go the litigation route post clerking anymore. Is it possible to switch over to transactional? How would one go about making that switch? My only “experience” is a commercial drafting class I did in law school that I did well in and enjoyed.

It looks like I may clear conflicts about a week before I'm scheduled to take a vacation at my current firm. I was told by my current firm that I won't be able to get coverage for all my matters and will likely need to be available to work for a few hours a day during this vacation. How should I handle this? Is it inevitable that I'll have to work during my vacation right before I quit or is there a way to avoid it?
