Does Natwest bank pay as competitive as Morgan Stanley Deutsche Bank. I mean Associate in MS and DB ranges from 20 to 30 lakh. However when I tried applying to Natwest expecting 40% hike (30 lpa) on current pay of 21 lakh. They straightway rejected me and said its not in their budget. My probation was supposed to be of 6 months (i.e until June 2022), but today I received a notification in Workday that I have passed my probation.
How is this possible?
I was planning to resign within probation for 30days notice period. But now this happened. Will this change my notice period to 90days??

As per few officials, its changing mainly after the new country head appointment(RP) who is enforcing these rules specifically for India. Strategy is mainly to shake off employees by voluntary resignations before they proceed with minor layoffs.
The effect will be visible in the upcoming years where real talent would have left company and rehiring them would be massive hit for their budget.
Whenever there is a change in Top management, they bring new policy to prove its worthiness in company, same happened to CTS in 2018, when Brian Humphre was appointed as new CEO, within a year veteran leaders started leaving company, by 2021 CTS got the highest attrition rate in industry. Atlast CTS Board kicked out Brian. NatWest seems like on the same path. Started boiling the water, the frogs will die if they don't jump out, and when they jump out NatWest will not have blood on its hand.

I heard from one of the team that their team is tracking hours. They can see hours completed against each individual on dashboard
