Did Deloitte layoff too many people? There is ZERO bench on the west coast, and they have started aggressive experienced hire hiring lately. It's annoying because I just wanted to hang out in December

When you’ve been promoted within a company, how much of it was you asking for it vs. a role opening up and you being the obvious fit?

I had a hiring manager at JPM reach out for a Commercial PM role (VP role that’s almost exact same role as my current role). Recently used a couple outside offers to get my firm to raise base comp to 130k+20k bonus.

Reasonable to expect JPM to pay 20% more than that or am I at the top of the expected range for a Commercial PM? 6 YOE

After spending 4 years as a mid-level ops manager, I tried to break into HR through talent acquisition. Now after 6 years in TA, I've had a hard time getting out of it. My goal was always to get into a more broad HRBP position, but I've since worked for smaller orgs without a solid HR career path. When I ask about my career goals, they keep telling me, "Soon!" Or "Maybe in 6 months!"

Any news on EB1c premium processing rule being implemented by USCIS soon? Seems like the law was passed in Sept 2020 to expand premium processing to EB1c but USCIS has still not enacted it. I have got offer from CTS and doing pre-onboarding formalities. As part of BGV the are asking to fill HR Manager name and contact numbers. How we can fill that because my previous company is HCL where the HR people are keep changing & @they don't even respond to their employees. Also, we couldn't add their phone number as well. Not sure if this is a controversial question but I’m a little bit confused as a FTM! When do you switch the car seat to forward facing? My 2 year old is pretty small (23 lbs) and her car seat says you can stay rear facing up to 50 lbs. That seems like she’ll be rear facing for years!
