Looking to apply for the Consulting- Analyst (strategy) role at Deloitte. Job description says “Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future”. I am legally authorized to work in the US but would require sponsorship in the future. Is the company very strict about this criteria? Are they open to sponsoring visas in general? If so, would someone be willing to refer me?
Got offered to come on as a full-time employee after working for Guidehouse as a contractor for about 4 months. My position wouldn’t change, but after speaking with the recruiter I have a feeling I’m being low balled. I have over a year and a half of consulting analyst exp prior to contracting, and am currently acting as a team lead on this project. Am I wrong to expect a pay range of 70k-90k? They’re currently offering a little less than 50k
Hey everyone need your opinion/help please. I am a Consulting Analyst at Accenture and I am constantly looking for projects in Supply Chain and Operations which is very difficult to find at Accenture. I am interviewing at KPMG for a Senior Consultant role in SC&O? I need help to know what are the pros and cons of each side if you have any insight on both sides.
To all my Canadian 🐠 in Consulting, I need your help please :) I am a management consulting analyst at Accenture, it’s been 1.5 years and I have an interview at KPMG coming up. When I spoke to the recruiter, she said she would consider me for a Consultant role (which is the same level as my current level at Accenture, at KPMG they start at consultant, at Accenture we start as analyst). Is it fair to ask to be considered for a senior consultant role at KPMG? details to follow
Have 2.5 YOE and consultant at Deloitte. Huron consulting reached out to interview me for a Consulting Analyst position bc apparently analyst is (0-5 years) and associate is 5+. Does this make sense/sound right ? What’s the expected salary at an analyst level?
Hello guys! Hoping someone would like to help me out. I am currently not in consulting but looking to make entry. There is a posting for a consulting analyst position that I am interested in and am looking to apply. I am just wondering if I can get some advice or best practices on how I can make myself stand out and get an interview. Little bit about myself. I have completed B.Com from one of the leading business schools in Canada back in 2017 and currently work as multi unit store manager.
Would anyone be able to share the total compensation (base and bonus) for management consulting analyst or similar role at your company (1 YOE)? My company just changed bonus structure to flat 5% of base which seems extremely low to me.
Looking for analyst/1st year associate level roles. Worked as a consulting analyst and was a high performer but had role affected by COVID at around 9 months in (still on good terms with old managers, eligible for rehire etc). Thinking of applying to entry level roles but it seems there aren’t many- is this just because of the holidays? I’ve applied to a couple but haven’t seen much traction, and I have good experience 😔
Hi Strategy& fish! Quick questions. I recently applied for a SA role at Strategy& on the HIA payer/provider team. I have an MPH from a top program and 1.5 YoE (I'm currently a consulting analyst on the provider side). Should I also apply for the Associate level position or no? Also what should I expect in terms of the company culture, team, and compensation?

Ive taken on a new role in integrated production. I'm now responsible for producing all different types of work - some of which I have little experience with. I'm struggling to gather common acceptable budgets for common programs across experiential, film, influencers, etc. Partners never want to give a rate card but it's hard for me to give teams a real expectation for what's possible. Has anyone found (or built) an accurate resource to reference when it comes to production costs! Halp! Thanks

Met with a CCO for a role on a notoriously “challenging” account. Thirty minute Zoom, nothing in-depth. A few days later the recruiter emails like “Great news. We’ve talked to many people but they’d like to make an offer to you!” I’m thinking to myself, it was a 30 minute call, I’ve never met my direct manager, potential partner(s), etc...So these guys are just desperate to fill this role, right?
Any suggestions when working with a micro manager at a manager level as a senior? Will be moving to a team where the manager has a reputation of being extremely micro managing, and am looking for suggestions on how to manage to keep my sanity and set boundaries while still being in a position to get good reviews, etc. Unfortunately not in a position to avoid being staffed on this team
For anyone who’s started at a company fully remote (Covid or otherwise)… when ramping into your new role, what did you do to feel more connected to your team/sales dept? I’m finding that I have questions that I don’t know how or whom to ask, I don’t know who anyone is and my manager can be MIA. This is my first fully remote role and it’s thrown me for a bit of a loop

I just found out that the most senior SEO specialist at my company ( technically SEO Manager title ) is making barely 6 figures. Am I crazy or is that unbelievably low? He’s a good friend of mine, and I always took his ranting on being underpaid as him just complaining, but I recently saw the company comp ladder for his position and he’s maxed out at 109k TC.
Hey y’all, any insight/thoughts/experience on Third and Grove (TAG) out of Boston you can share? Just got hit up for a role there.

I have a (2-week old) new boss (CPO) who wants to break up my reports and responsibilities into different functions that report up to her. I accepted this role back in April because of the growth opp, but now I feel like the role and responsibilities she is suggesting are significantly reduced from the offer I accepted back in April (bait and switch). I have never been in this situation before. What do you all recommend?

Would love some advice - during Covid, I transitioned to a smaller firm that had some great things to offer but has almost zero experience dealing with attorney maternity leave. They agreed to create a policy during the hiring process, and the administrator did come talk to me at some point after my hire to say they had settled on a policy and some paid leave, which is great, but they never verified in writing and the paid period was pretty short (maybe a month or 6 weeks). (Con’t in comments)
I was laid off during this whole situation and I looked for a job after. I accepted a job with a specialized tax group because that was the only place that would take me with all the others that got

Hi, I’m in the process of rewriting my resume and am wondering what directors/department leads want to see in a mid level resume? More formal and MBA like? More creative and personality driven? What should I definitely have on there vs leave off? Thanks.
Generally does MBB referrals need to come from the same office you're applying to? I guess it would be a stronger case
