Does Natwest bank pay as competitive as Morgan Stanley Deutsche Bank. I mean Associate in MS and DB ranges from 20 to 30 lakh. However when I tried applying to Natwest expecting 40% hike (30 lpa) on current pay of 21 lakh. They straightway rejected me and said its not in their budget. I am a first year who just started a couple of months ago and I am literally confused all the time. I did some small work for two partners and they loved it, so put me on new deals but the mid levels I am staffed with absolutely hate the work I do. One said the work I did was laughable. I felt bed because I spent over 25 hours on this. I wouldn’t be very bothered but the other Associates in my class are killing it. So I just feel dumb all the time.

So, it’s been two weeks since the last response from the HR recruiter (they said my resume and tests were shared with the team). Should I send an email? It’s normal that some process take this long, but I’m getting a little anxious.
