I am positive that the troubles OP is experiencing are not limited to simply PTO awareness
@consultant, I feel your position and need to put up the walls. I am struggling with the same; it seems you’re being shut off and on a need to know basis where no good deed goes unpunished. And about PTO, sit with this one…was questioned as to why I was not taking PTO at year end.
I’ve been unclear on how I can or are wanted to contribute value since joining my current firm. I’m seeing it impact my confidence and even day to day.
Unfortunately, I do not have a great path forward, but am seeking both internal and external opps to be empowered to lead and contribute value. My hope is I am able to focus and be a confident yet humble me as I look around.
Good luck, know your worth/value and do your best to center on the positive. You are GREAT, do not let all the mushroom fodder they are providing define you. ;)
