Today (with permission from my manager), I marked myself as offline on teams and set an out of office for my email today but still worked. It was an amazing opportunity to ignore any new requests and catch up on my pending items. I definitely recommend this if you’re running behind and can get manager backing.

That's a good idea and a bold move. I've done things like schedule meetings with myself just so I could get time to focus. I never thought to bring my manager in on the idea.

I really love my workplace for the fact that this isn't only allowed, but encouraged. We all block off an hour or two a day, usually later in the day, to focus completely on our work.

My anxiety is through the roof I’ve never wanted a job so bad before that I’ve interviewed for. I had an excellent interview with my potential manager. She said out of all the applicants I stood out the most and she loved my resume/conversation , They are moving to meet the team on Wednesday.
