When traveling for business how do you find while eating out alone enjoyable or the food doesn't taste as good as being surrounded by friends and family?

Tbh I have learned to enjoy eating alone.

Usually I’ll look up the city I’m being sent to and look for restaurants or spots to grab lunch/dinner. I like to save 3-4 spots and if I like them, I go back! I tend to text my friends and family about the places I go to, and that makes it a bit more enjoyable for me.

I don’t actually, I enjoy eating alone on occasion. Going out of town helps feed that need I guess.

I usually do 1 of two things, either find a place where the staff isn’t too busy and engage with them and/or bring something to distract me (book/phone/work)
