Hello Guys,
I joined Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?
As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.

Data science people are the most hyped resources in DTDL....so much that they think that they are far more superior than other engineers. Also they ask for even 60 percent hike and are offered whatever hike they demand.
Why don’t you ask HR all these questions?
By the way, individual contributor can be in data science stream also and people management lead is there for all stream.
Like Backend lead at L2.1 is People manager and principal engineer at L2 .1 is individual contributor.
So there is no bias or difference !
The only point is that as an individual contributor, one cannot go beyond L3.2 otherwise they need to start taking team responsibility.
It litrally would not make a diff if DS or Sr DS was in the IC streamand then later after growth they start ppl mgmt as well. That's how us testers and devs also work. You are just giving extra benefit to data sceince ppl when it comes to promos and growth.
Just a thought, if you have time to go and read about these levels and take the efforts to put screenshots on social media.
Then I think you can take out time to also read about “individual contributor” and “People management” stream. It’s for general knowledge.

Did not answer my question. Why is data science separate from IC role? A SDE or sdet is an IC as well. What different do they do that they get a different track.
