EY all managing directors and partner/principals have a dedicated EA that is shared with other folks. Mine covers 8 PPMD. They’ve been offshoring these folks for a while but even more so recently. Carribean is a big hub.
Coach
APs get a shared offshore EA. Recently elected Ps as well. More tenured P/SP get legacy local US EAs shared by a few P/SP or a US remote EA (mostly Tampa). Long term goal is to have them all be remote in Costa Rica
Interesting on Costa Rica - think the Tampa piece btw is definitely going away very little cost differential - for us in Canada all P’s have in office EA typically shared by 2
Once you become a Partner, you are assigned a shared EA from one of our global centers. Mine supports 4 of us but there are cases where they support 6 or 7.
Managing Partners get their own EA who is generally from the same country as them. There are some exceptions where one EA may cover 2 Managing Partners.
Directors have a shared pool, MD and Partner more dedicated EA
PwC
All MDs can get one. There are different models available depending on seniority and needs.
Accenture
None for ours...maybe at c-suite level. "Top 10" firm
Which firm?
PLs get a shared off or near shore EA (Atlanta, Costa Rica). Same for principals and partners although you share with fewer. MDPs get a split EA (one covers two MDPs) in local office. Only very senior people get dedicated.
