Sponsorship was normal for us in the US this year (90%+ who applied got it). You have to have been at Kearney for two years by November to apply (no restrictions on laterals).
It’s full tuition no fees for two years - no gain share on scholarship $ (just reduces principal if you renege). For fall starts, you forfeit the annual bonus and take all your your vacation prior to leaving. When you join back, you get the same signing bonus as summers and maxed out vacation. Commitment is 2 years amortized monthly.
K1 ah okay, I’m sure it isn’t you would probably know - complained about quite heavily in our bowl :D
Separate from EY. EYP funded 100% of the seniors that requested sponsorship this cycle. 2 year clawback and has to be at an approved MBA school (largely top 20).
There’s also a part time sponsorship program that’s pretty obtainable if you have a strong business case. I was lucky enough to receive sponsorship this year for full-time, but was considering the part time program for a while as well.
OW is killing its MBA sponsorship
OW2 technically they have put it on pause and are further evaluating if they want to bring it back. But do you really see it coming back given how skewed we are to prefer people not going?
Same policy as PwC Advisory, just more spots allocated in the program to S& vs. regular Advisory folks. From my conversations with senior people, it's not hard to get sponsorship but it's not easy either. You have to get into a target MBA program as well, I think.
The scholarship is full tuition and covers one school-related international trip. Obligation to the firm is that you have to intern at the firm between Y1 and Y2 and you have to stay for 3 years after the MBA (vs. 2 at other firms).
In my opinion it's an ass policy. I love it here but the MBA sponsorship terms is one of the biggest gripes I have about this place. I'm hoping to go to b-school in the next 1-2 years and I'm considering whether or not I should leave the firm before my MBA seeing as I simply can't see myself taking the sponsorship :P
@ Accenture 1 the lack of an internship for me
