Johns Hopkins SAIS is good here as well or Georgetown SFS. Think you’re better deciding career goals and picking the one to get you there. Foreign policy school or MBA. Lot of dual degree students only end up really using one but do so because of the prestige factor of it.
Who is paying for it? If its your firm then maybe but remember you're off the workforce for 3 years. If you're paying out of pocket then the economics is just not there - you will get almost everything from one of those degree that you can with the dual degree. Don't fall victum to the prestige trap - all people will see is Harvard on your resume

Thanks both, this is helpful! Hoping for some financial aid especially from HKS because agree with you - 3 years out of pocket for both degrees seems a bit much. And the “prestige” factor - Harvard + MIT - is playing a role here. If you had to choose, which degree would you recommend? I want to explore a range of fields - impact investing, dev consulting, and institutions like WB as noted above.
Based on your long term goals HKS. Sloan will show higher average salaries because of all the folks going into Tech in HCOL, Consulting, and Banking but if you aren’t targeting those fields then take the average salaries Sloan reports with a grain of salt
