What's something that you wish didn't factor into your decision-making with a candidate? I let the way a candidate decides to appear and dress for an interview weigh more than I'd like to admit, and I'm wondering if others here have certain things like that, or maybe even share in mine.

I know that employment gaps happen, but it's hard not to judge people for them. Unless they have a really good reason, like parenthood or taking care of family. But sometimes it just seems like people don't want to work and they avoid it as much as they can… As somebody who has always had to work, it's hard not to judge people when they don't have a good reason for a gap.

I don't know why, but their confidence for the job is my main thing. If they don't feel confident, it's a no-go for me. IS that too bad?

i dont think this is bad! It's hard to be confident in someone who's not confident in themselves

if they fidget a lot during the interview
