My interview got over on June 29th right after the interview the recruiter called me and told I’m selected and they will be sending the offer letter. He mentioned there will be a delay in releasing the offer letter since merging is happening right now. few days back I sent a mail to HR.. but no reply. and after that I received a mail stating they are no longer considering me for this position. Does this happen to anyone else ?

I’m currently interviewing with cross-country and Collaborative. Do anyone prefer own over the other?

Do any of you stay with your current job bc of the flexibility you’ve earned over the years? I’ve been at the same company for ten years and am SO READY to make a change but I’m scared to give up the flexibility.

For example, my 3 and 1 year olds were home with me all week because daycare had to shut down. I did as much as I could, joined calls and met all deadlines but I also stepped away a lot during the day to pay attention to the kiddos. I’m scared if I go somewhere new this wouldnt be ok.

What is the key to getting noticed with UHG for work? They seem impossible to crack

How do contractions really feel? FTM and I’m starting to feel a little pain in the lower part of my belly. Given I usually have a high tolerance for pain(after a ton of sports injuries) not sure what is true labor/contraction pain. Trying to avoid a car baby or a lobby baby😅

P.S: I don’t have a lot of pain during my period (which is what my mum keeps saying it’ll feel like). So unfortunately that reference hasn’t helped! Any advice helps!!

HR/LEGAL HELP: I work for a multi-state remote employer. I am doing a classification study of sorts and believe that we may have to reclassify some positions. The impact is moving exempt and salaried positions to non-exempt. This has caused us to consider what states we are/should be hiring from. Any issues with excluding candidates from certain states that may have more stringent pay laws? Appreciate your help!

How is it goes in ZS client vs pod? A, AC, C, M levels.
AC, C do min work at times.
How does promotions and other things work? Is it just how you retain business with clients or how is it justified like who is working what in the project?
Are people expected to continue doing what they are doing right now? Do people have to take extra initiatives climbing up the ladder or work will be assigned from upper hierarchy themselves.

Received LTI offer letter but salary structure is not in detail. Have dropped mail to HR for details and in hand salary per month but no reply yet. What am supposed to do now guys?

When changing jobs, how should I evaluate the salary change if I am switching from a HCOL to LCOL? Seems crazy to accept a pay decrease in this market but not sure if it’s really a decrease after factoring in the COL. Going from B4 to industry if it matters.

Anyone ever escape PA Tax and go to a nice 9-5 cushy job where pay was decent but nothing amazing.

Then these high paying jobs come in and while you have the skillset, you look at the description and think that seems like a hella a lot of work. I think came to the conclusion that I would rather drink a cold beer and never think about work after 430 then working my rear off till 10-12 at night.

Not sure if any one has shared my sentiment.
