What’s the longest stretch you’ve ever worked without taking a single PTO day? For me, it was almost a full year, and I didn’t even realize how drained I was until I finally took a break. It really made me rethink how important small breaks are to avoid burnout. Have you ever had a moment like that?

I once went for about a year without taking a day off, and I'd even work partial days on weekends and some holidays. It was one of those things where you get wrapped up in projects and really get carried away with the whole workaholic vibe. These days I'm a lot more judicious about how I allocate my time.

Wow that is a really long time to go without taking a day off. I don't know that I have ever gone more than 6 weeks without taking a day off. I am someone who makes sure to use every hour of my PTO. I generally take a day or two off each month.

Hi Fishes,
I will complete my Masters in Information Systems from Georgia State University this fall. Banking on my prior work experience of 5.5 years in SuccessFactors implementation (Deloitte USI), I am targeting similar kind of roles at Deloitte and PwC.
Interviewed with Deloitte for SCon position but the offer has not been released yet. PwC interview is scheduled next week.
