What's the ratio of men to women teachers where you are? This is the first time I've worked somewhere where it's just about 50/50.

The elementary school (PreK-5) is 99 percent female. Middle school (6-8) are 75 percent female. High school (9-12) are 66 percent female. Elementary principal and assistant are women, Middle School principal is a man and assistant is a woman, High School principal and assistant are men.

Our high school staff is pretty evenly split between male/female.

Most departments at my high school are evenly split. In math, we have 5 women and 4 men, so it’s as close as possible for an odd number. And if you count the alt high school math teacher in our district, it’s 5 and 5.

The exceptions are English, PE, and Ag/Shop. PE is 5 men and 1 woman. English is 7 women and 2 men. And the Ag/Shop is 5 women. It used to be 4 men and 1 woman, but that all changed over the course of about 3 years. It’s a unique department. The male students get really awkward when the teachers casually demonstrate how to castrate sheep.

Oh wow. I have never worked somehwere that was 50/50. I would say the ration is about 75/25 at my school. We have very few male teachers, most are women.

My husband having 12 yrs. exp currently holds two opportunities abroad at the moment. We r a family of three (husband, wife and a 1 yo)

One is a contract role (through a consultancy) in Australia with 100k annual pay.. Other one is an On-site opportunity in New Zealand through an WITCH company, not unsure of the pay right now. Their eventual plan is to settle abroad, preferably Australia

Please suggest which one would be a better choice at the moment. Also any info on on-site pay in NZ

Accenture Hello, this past December I applied to a Devops role at Accenture. I didn’t get the position but I looked on their website and noticed they have an software engineer apprenticeship. I emailed the recruiter about the apprenticeship but she didn’t get back to be. But after telling me I didn’t get the position she did say to wait six months to apply for another position. I really think I would be a good fit for the apprenticeship. What can anyone recommend? Can I possibly get a referral.

How realistic is it to land an AD position as a fresh grad (with a doctorates) and a handful of pharma & FDA interships?
