Getting a promotion and/or a raise probably won't fix the reason you're unhappy at EY, if you are in actual fact unhappy.
Also, you only get one of these to use, so if you leverage a job offer for a raise / promotion:
- don't let it be an empty threat, and
- you're going to be "that guy" who used a threat to get a bonus / promotion, which people do care about at the MFD level. Loyalty counts.
What if they’re unhappy due to compensation or lack of promotion? Those are two pretty common reasons
