Take notes about what you've been doing week to week, and use that information to build a strong case for yourself. Be able to go into a meeting with a concise pitch about how much more work you've been taking on and how your value to the organization has increased. If you can do that, you can argue that your compensation should reflect your increased workload.
I'm trying to be patient with this economy and understanding that I'm probably not going to get the raise that I want because of the economy. But I think you can present a strong case by sharing all of the responsibilities you've taken on, all the work you're doing, and how indispensable you are to your team.
