Can someone please explain to me how this insane kind of back arching when benching is considered proper form? (See random google photo)

I see it often in my gym, specifically with high school aged kids. And, it SCREAMS “injury in your future” to me.

This is a serious question, I’ve been lifting for about 10 years or so, and this kind of technique seems to have just exploded.
