SEEKING ADVICE: I received an offer (see redacted photo) from a private insurance defense & commercial litigation law firm. My five years of practicing law have solely been in criminal law (both as a Prosecutor and defense attorney in TX, CA, CO), plus 1.5 years in Family/Appellate law.

I know nothing about this sector other than what I've read. I’m not familiar with billable hours or how they would reflect on my work-life balance. I have three kids, the oldest is six ..(continued below)..
