Social Impact & CSR
What are the reputations of social impact / development consulting firms (Dalberg, Chemonics, DAI, etc.)? Are there any breakdown describing these orgs?
What are salary expectations for a consultant / associate equivalent (2+ years of work experience) role based in the US at development organizations like Chemonics, DAI, FHI 360, and others?
Tired of being stressed no wlb. I really want to transition to mission-driven work. I’ve started interviewing with orgs I’m super excited about but pay is much less. How much pay cut is too much?
Does anyone work in companies like Dalberg or others that do social impact consulting (Africa focused)? I'm interested in pivoting into this kind of work and wanted to hear about your experiences.
What companies have the best social impact, public policy or CSR practices right now? (Excluding Bridgespan, Dalberg) Are any commercial?
Early-career advice needed: Building career in Social Impact. Should I stay in Big4s/boutiques to gain specialized experience or join strat consulting firm to hone problem-solving skills + CV boost?
I was wondering what skills / abilities would make me most attractive for International Dev and Social Impact work moving forward. Want to break in but don’t know how and could use advice.
