I recently joined TCS but I was moved into very different project which was told during hiring. Also they told me for joining incentive but later after 65 days of joining they didn't give saying your business aproval got rejected. I really want to be with TCS but due to project dissatisfaction, I am looking for different job. I am not sure if I can leave the organisation soo soon(4 months) and it should not effect my carrier.

Even at big companies, CSR is often a 1-8 person function. Most people move into it later in their careers. Would focus on more general social impact / non profit work, or even just your regular consulting job while being extremely active in D&I / social impact groups.
Hi! It’s tough. I’ve been trying for several months now. My two cents:
- brush up on the basic language and frameworks. (i.e., Know what SEER means, etc)
- there are a few open source classes online you can take to teach yourself the basics
- revamp your resume to highlight CSR-relevant points
- network within your company for both internal CSR groups as well as client-facing practitioners who advise on CSR strategy
- look into ways to implement internal CSR-type initiatives at your company to boost your resume
- and most importantly, network! Go to conferences and events both in your city and across the nation that will facilitate meeting the right people so they can help you get a job and/or teach you what you need to know.
Be prepared for the long game ... I’m still trying :)
Because so many people want to be involved, they usually volunteer on a number of initiatives with the same people over and over again. I'm just now bringing on someone to a project that's been volunteering in PRD consistently for 6 months. Also don't expect someone to staff you just bc you think their work is cool. These are usually small teams
