Tired of being stressed no wlb. I really want to transition to mission-driven work. I’ve started interviewing with orgs I’m super excited about but pay is much less. How much pay cut is too much?

How do you answer the question, "Why are you interested in this job?" when you are being recruited? I was being aggressively recruited by a company, with the recruiter calling me several times, telling me they really wanted me, etc. During one of the peer interviews I got the typical "why this job?" question. I didn't have my usual prepared answer ("looking for a new challenge", etc) because they called me. What would you have said in this situation.

Do you have to obtain permission from your firm to use a writing sample from practice, even if you redact names and identifying client information? This is the most basic question, so yep, I’m asking you to take it easy on me when you reply. I have been practicing for about 5 years total. I have been in civil practice for 2 years. These 2 years have been the most demoralizing, unfulfilling 2 years of my life. I have been giving myself pep talks to find the “positive” spin on it but firm life isn’t for me.
