I’m trying to get an estimated ideal of what my costs would be when moving to Chicago. How much do you spend a month on “going out” (before pandemic)? Specifically referring to going to restaurants, getting drinks, take out, and coffee. Not including transportation.

What's a good place to live to access both downtown and Argonne national lab in Lemont? I live on the far north side of Chicago now, but my partner got a new job and it would be an hour each way by car to commute for him. I work downtown along the red line. Looking for somewhere affordable, not interested in night life or anything but groceries and transit need to be 10 minute walk or less and be safe. Also prefer CTA over metra since my company has later night events. Thank you!!

Solo trip to europe for two weeks this august, 27/F, deciding between two options: city and beachside or maybe both! I generally like walkable cities, good food, bespoke wine bars, stay a while in cafe scenes. Aside from London, Paris, Lisbon, (been to these cities already) any recommendations?? I got offer from 2 firms KPMG global for 6 lpa and Deloitte India for 6.5 lpa. Which one should i move for.

My personal opinion is to go for DI because its in my hometown, for KPMG i need to relocate. But many people are telling WLB was bad in DI. any suggestions..
