Bowl Leader
I’m pretty sure Matthew Syed talks about this in one of his books.
Argument is basically, thinking a lot about work is good but if you never switch off you’ll burn out, and too much time thinking about one thing will narrow your view of the world. So if your constantly solving problems you should try to apply that to something outside of your job once the working day is over- as this is both good for you, and will make you better at your job.
But if I'm bored with hobbies that don't challenge me mentally (apart from sports?)
This book definitely speaks to it.
