5 hour in house counsel interview tomorrow with 5 different people. Can I bring notes with my questions or does that look bad?

Put your notes in your phone, and if you get a quick break use them to refresh, but don’t bust them out. (Re)typing will help memorize so you’ll be fine. You got this!

I always bring a note pad in a leather folio and pen and take notes on their answers to my questions. Most interviews are conversational so I end up jotting down things throughout. I would just hand write crib notes on the first page. I also bring extra copies of my resume and cover letter etc in the same folio.

I realize this is after the fact, but I’m an in-house attorney and I absolutely brought a notepad with my own questions and space to jot things down in the interviews. I later received positive feedback as being their strongest interviewer, so if you brought notes I think you’re good! Also if I was interviewing I’d be surprised if someone DIDN’T have any materials. Most times I’ve interviewed candidates that have at least a pen and paper.

Hi guys, I have got one full time job for 14LPA from 10.5LPA in Coforge for BA role. On the other hand, I have one more offer for Canada and the job is on 2 years contract basis with 80k CAD per annum where I have to sign 2 years agreement as well that I can’t back out once I get the offer. I was interested to go CA but scared in terms of job security, economic slowdown and a big change. Is it worth going to CA on contract basis job declining the full time opportunity in India.

Not sure about variable payout but will have to let go off the joining bonus and hike for sure.

Came here to say that I wish I could fully express to my non-parent colleagues how much their support has meant to me. I can cover for them when they have stuff so they can unplug, but I feel like they will never truly understand the gratitude when they offer to do a task for me when my kid is sick, etc. Any ideas on how to pay it forward?

Anyone have experience waiting on an offer while having received another within 1 org? I have been interning for 5 months. My manager has been extending me as I expressed I didn’t want my current role but need the job.

She has been extremely open to assisting me in finding other roles internally. Recently, I expressed a desire to stay on the team as a “full time.” The day before I got the offer I was invited to interview for another role. I will take the other offer if extended. What now?
