I have accepted Infosys Offer Letter . If I am not joining Infy and joins another company, then is there anything like Infosys remembers it and will not consider in its Future Opportunities saying "You previously Didnt join our Organisation after accepting Offer Letter , So we are not considering your profile ahead " (Something like blacklist).
Has anybody accepted Infy Offer Letter and Have not joined ...and later got another Offer from Infy after say 6 months or 1 year and then Joined Infy ?

I would need an additional 30% in base pay if I had to be in office full time within 20 miles from home. Gas/car wear and tear and then needing to pay for clothing for office wear can add up not to mention time away from family, workout routing etc.

You’re looking at the full cost, not just fuel but time and lifestyle impact. That’s why this feels economic, not emotional. Should companies factor commuting into compensation, or is flexibility the better fix?
The pandemic and the brief period of universal remote work really changed people's perceptions. Everyone commuted to work for decades (if not centuries, really) and no one thought it a horrible burden. Now people are calling it a reduction in pay and so on. Eventually everyone will be back in the office anyway, so people need to accept that they'll all be commuting again sooner or later.

Thank you , Commuting was normal for years, but now we know work can be done differently. That naturally changes how people view time and pay. Do you see hybrid becoming the realistic long term balance?
